Experienced Leadership

President and founder Larry Samuelson started The Samuelson Company after 35 years with Genuine Parts Company (GPC) and NAPA, where he held key leadership roles in various divisions as a President, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Executive Officer. As President of the Automotive Parts Group, he provided the strategy to restore growth and profitability to hundreds of business owners in that firm’s network of businesses, and oversaw 18,000 employees in North America.

While at GPC/NAPA, Larry extended his leadership skills to initiate and champion an aggressive performance management program to help his executive management team develop and improve their leadership skills, prepare for additional responsibilities, and identify opportunities to increase profitability.
